The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module defective mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor signal for back-up lights, short to b+ and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
28841 Possible Causes:
28841 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28841 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
