This something to do with the intake camshaft timing shift lock, short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground also nox sensor bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
28822 Possible Causes:
28822 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28822 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
