This code were stamped on VW Engine case nox sensor bank 2, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 also engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. will delay your vw fault. |
28812 Possible Causes:
28812 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28812 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
