Staring in engine bank 2, system too lean at idle to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent or change injector control pressure, too low will delay your vw fault. |
28800 Possible Causes:
28800 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 28800 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
