This something to do with the intake camshaft timing idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2 . On the other hand intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
28799 Possible Causes:
28799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28799 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
