Diagnosing engine bar with throttle position output, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine torque reduction, open / short to ground and wait then diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
28798 Possible Causes:
28798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 28798 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
