The problem is about bank 1; system too lean at idle to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely also fuel supply heater, control circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
28797 Possible Causes:
28797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
