When you open fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit and wait then secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
28793 Possible Causes:
28793 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28793 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
