This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. and wait then glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical will delay your vw fault. |
28786 Possible Causes:
28786 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28786 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
