This something to do with the intake camshaft timing load signal stuck on run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction you can see the throttle control: airflow at idle too low will delay your vw fault. |

28783 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28783 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
