This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance or change valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
28780 Possible Causes:
28780 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 28780 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
