When you open shift lock, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air leak between maf and throttle body or change valve for torque support mount, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28779 Possible Causes:
28779 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 28779 Code
- Inspect all the connections leak in air intake system
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
