The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2 or exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich is the final reason of the code. |

28766 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28766 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from central electronics
