28749 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground or change nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
28749 Possible Causes:
28749 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 28749 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
