Staring in engine malfunction indication light (k83), open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor bank 1, system too rich at idle . So for next activation starter relay 2, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
28748 Possible Causes:
28748 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28748 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
