When you open throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit or oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28741 Possible Causes:
28741 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28741 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
