28741 Possible Causes:
28741 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 28741 Code
- Inspect all the connections reset-resistant limp-mode active
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
