This something to do with the intake camshaft timing potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ or coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |

28735 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 28735 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
