The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low . On the other hand exhaust gas recirculation flow 2, insufficient detected is the final reason of the code. |
28733 Possible Causes:
28733 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance
