When you open intake air heater "a", circuit open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction also throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code. |
28731 Possible Causes:
28731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28731 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
