When you open data bus powertrain, no communication retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance and wait then exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
28728 Possible Causes:
28728 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 28728 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
