The problem is about bank 2, system too lean off idle retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off or change activation starter relay 2, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |

28720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 28720 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
