This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high or a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
28720 Possible Causes:
28720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 28720 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
