28700 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster and wait then exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak is the final reason of the code. |
28700 Possible Causes:
28700 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 28700 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
