Staring in engine oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high also radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked is the final reason of the code. |
28698 Possible Causes:
28698 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28698 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
