When you open turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance . On the other hand please check dtc memory of engine ecu is the final reason of the code. |
28697 Possible Causes:
28697 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28697 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
