This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground or injection pump, timing calibration not learned is the final reason of the code. |

28681 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 28681 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
