This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so control module defective or change exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28680 Possible Causes:
28680 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 28680 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle angle signal stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
