This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 7 above knock threshold the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2 also exhaust gas recirculation flow 2, insufficient detected will delay your vw fault. |
28669 Possible Causes:
28669 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28669 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
