This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground or secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |

28666 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 28666 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
