This code were stamped on VW Engine case o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) or data bus powertrain, missing messages is the final reason of the code. |
28664 Possible Causes:
28664 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 28664 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
