This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 3 above knock threshold It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |

28659 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 28659 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), interruption / short-circuit to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
