This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor air leak between maf and throttle body also butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment is the final reason of the code. |
28643 Possible Causes:
28643 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28643 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
