This code were stamped on VW Engine case friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich or evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
28641 Possible Causes:
28641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
