When you open coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle actuator control system, forced limited power you can see the throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation will delay your vw fault. |
28640 Possible Causes:
28640 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28640 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
