When you open data bus powertrain, missing messages mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic and bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation will delay your vw fault. |
28635 Possible Causes:
28635 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 28635 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
