This code were stamped on VW Engine case powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of adr control module or change o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
28623 Possible Causes:
28623 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28623 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
