This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground you can see the o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
28619 Possible Causes:
28619 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28619 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
