This something to do with the intake camshaft timing motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance also catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low is the final reason of the code. |
28614 Possible Causes:
28614 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28614 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine temperature too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
