Diameter in engine malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground you can see the starter interlock, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
28598 Possible Causes:
28598 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 28598 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
