The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injection pump, fuel calibration not learned and bank 1, system too lean off idle is the final reason of the code. |
28594 Possible Causes:
28594 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28594 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
