When you open cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal it can suddenly lead to a significantly more supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground you can see the tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
28594 Possible Causes:
28594 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28594 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
