The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of adr control module retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28588 Possible Causes:
28588 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
