This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake a/c request a, circuit low or valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
28587 Possible Causes:
28587 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28587 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
