28579 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open and wait then oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
28579 Possible Causes:
28579 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 28579 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
