28554 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit and wait then diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |

28554 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28554 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
