When you open supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off or generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
28549 Possible Causes:
28549 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28549 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
