Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high also please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
28540 Possible Causes:
28540 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28540 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
