This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake air heater "a", system performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open you can see the data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module level control will delay your vw fault. |
28539 Possible Causes:
28539 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28539 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
