Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent or ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
28531 Possible Causes:
28531 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 28531 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
