Accumulated in electronic control units so tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low you can see the ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28517 Possible Causes:
28517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28517 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
