When you open turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off . So for next secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
28515 Possible Causes:
28515 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28515 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
