This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control module, performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit high and wait then intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
28514 Possible Causes:
28514 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28514 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
